SUICIDE PREVENTION

Floating Item

Suicide prevention for us is personal. Whether you have suffered from passive or active suicidal ideation or have had suicidal attempts, we want you to know that you are not alone.

It is important to note that suicide is not a normal response to stress. Suicidal thoughts or actions are a sign of extreme distress and should not be ignored. Whether this is new to you or you have been struggling with suicidal ideations for a while, our team is committed to individualized treatment approaches including but not limited to medication management and psychotherapy. We will work together to find effective treatment for you.

Our team of trained professionals understands the urgency and sensitivity of these situations. We provide a safe and non-judgmental environment where individuals can express their feelings and receive the help they need. Our suicide prevention services focus on crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning, aiming to provide immediate support during moments of distress.

At Conscientia MD, we believe in the power of connection and collaboration. We work closely with local mental health organizations, emergency services, and community resources to ensure a comprehensive support network for individuals in crisis. We also offer education and training programs to raise awareness about suicide prevention and equip individuals with the skills to recognize warning signs and respond effectively.

Our suicide prevention center offers both in-person and helpline services, ensuring that support is accessible to individuals regardless of their location or circumstances. We are here to listen, support, and guide finding hope and alternatives to suicide.

If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, please call emergency services or a local crisis hotline. Together, we can make a difference and prevent suicide.

***Please note that we are not a crisis center and do not treat emergencies, if you or someone you know is in crisis Please call  National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (Lifeline) at 1-800-273-TALK (8255), or text the Crisis Text Line (text HELLO to 741741). Both services are free and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week***
