A little about Dr. Sandra Walker-Lee
Dr. Sandra Walker-Lee is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner whose certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Valdosta State College, Master of Science degree in Nursing (PMHNP-BC) and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in Nursing from University of Cincinnati. Sandra has experience in treating psychiatric patients in variety of settings including maximum security forensics, inpatient, outpatient, and detox facilities per face-to-face and telehealth. Sandra started her career working as a psychiatric registered nurse (2006) in acute crisis stabilization units and 24-hour observation units. Through Sandra’s years of experience as a psychiatric registered and her passion and dedication in mental health, she decided to return to college in her quest to become obtain a Doctor in Nursing Practice degree with continued focus in mental health.
Sandra specializes in Psychiatric Mental Health Services in Adults and Adolescents 13 and above.
Sandra is committed to increasing access to treatment for mental health services with the understanding that one’s struggle with mental health ultimately affects the community. Thus, her goals are to make those she spends time with feel heard and valued. In Sandra’s spare time, she enjoys reading, decorating, going on vacation and spending time with her family and friends.
