Dr. Ramos is a board-certified psychiatrist and is licensed to practice in Texas. She received her B.A. from Stanford University and her M.D. from Vanderbilt School of Medicine.
A little about Dr. Sarah Ramos, MD
Dr. Sarah Ramos is an adult psychiatrist with over 15 years of experience working with adults of all ages with a variety of mental health needs. Sarah especially enjoys working with clients with depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress. Dr. Ramos is a board-certified psychiatrist and is licensed to practice in Texas. She received her B.A. from Stanford University and her M.D. from Vanderbilt School of Medicine. She completed her internship at the University of California San Diego and finished residency at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA.
After completing her training, she moved to Houston and worked at Baylor College of Medicine as an attending at various Harris Health System community health centers. She moved to Maryland in 2014 and worked in the Adult Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. She returned to the Houston area in 2020 and worked at the Katy Outpatient Veterans Affairs Clinic.
Dr. Ramos believes in evidence-based practices, including medication management, psychotherapy, and the importance of whole mind and body wellness. She enjoys helping clients meet their potential and believes in the importance of a team approach when working with clients.
During her time off, she enjoys spending time with her family, exercise, and reading.
